We are delighted to announce the dates for the 16th International Paediatric Haematology and Oncology Update Meeting. IPHOUM 2018 will take place on 6th and 7th September 2018 at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Thursday and Friday).
This time we will make use of the impressive King Khalid Building at the College, which will suit us perfectly. It will provide us with an impressive auditorium with raked seating and state-of-the-art AV facilities. The King Khalid Building is on Hill Square, directly opposite Ten Hill Place Hotel (where accommodation will be possible alongside your Registration). The downstairs King Khalid Reception Area will house our exhibition and catering spaces.
For 2018 we have added a strapline to the logo, as you will have seen. “Putting Advances into Practice” sums up the educational objectives of this well-established Update Meeting: the aim is to provide relevant clinical updates of advances, latest treatments and assessments, thus equipping participants with practical information and knowledge for them to take away and use in their units.
The 2018 programme will include the popular “How I treat” sessions, new “What do I need to know/do?” sessions, a Debate, oral and poster presentations following abstract review, a sponsored Breakfast Symposium and the usual line-up of invited global experts.
As the programme develops, we will post further information on this website and we aim to open Registration on 1st April 2018. If you wish to receive automatic updates as and when more details are available, do leave your details on the Contact page of this site.
For now, save the date in your diary and starting planning your attendance at IPHOUM 2018.
